Adult Day and Community Living Services
Adult Day Services (ADS)
Adult day services provide disabled adults the opportunity to socialize, learn valuable life skills, and spend more time in the community. They also give caregivers a respite from caregiving duties. At Tuna Lindberg Center, we pride ourselves on the care we the give and the fun we have.
Sample Activities
We plan a monthly calendar of activities that range from crafts to swimming and movie days to football scrimmages. Whether in our center or our in the community, we work with our clients on valuable life skills like communication, budgeting, self care, and building relationships.
Community Living Services
Some individuals may require residential services as well. We offer several housing options with trained staff to care for your loved one. We provide meals and housing in a small group or family style setting.
Supported Living Services
Some families may prefer to keep their loved ones in their home and prefer not to attend ADS (Adult Day Services). Through supported living services, we can help transport them into the community on an as needed bases to places like their bank, the library, or the grocery store while providing companionship and care.
Medical Appointments
We understand that caring for an adult with special needs may come with additional responsibilities. At Tuna Lindberg Center we are able to schedule, manage, and maintain all needed doctor visits for our clients. All staff are trained in medication assistance as well as CPR/First Aid certified.
Transportation
Tuna Lindberg Center has several vehicles to help transport our clients to and from their homes to our day service center. We also provide all transportation to and from all scheduled activities.
